I pretty much agree with you Mark but may start Dawson in place of Upson. I still think we will do enough on Wednesday to qualify for the last 16.

Rooney, benched and given a real boolocking, firstly for playing shite and secondly for being a prima donna in his comments about being boo'ed. He deserves to be boo'ed, as do the rest of the team. But i would turn his bollocking into a motivational bollocking, so that hes chomping at the bit to either get on the pitch in the 2nd half, or to get a place in the next game should we get through. The fact that we do get through, would probably mean this team has done their job, so stick with the winnin team.
Remember, we won the world cup without Jimmy Greaves playing from Qtr finals onwards due to injury, and he was the Rooney of his generation. So just shows its not always the best players in the team that will do well at tournaments, its more about getting the balance right and having everyoine pulling together. ROONEY is only pulling for himself!

Peter Crouch's goals got us to this tournament, so give the lad a chance to do it AT THE tournament!
Rooney hasnt scored a competitive international goal for 12 months, so how does he justify his selection anyway.....!?

Given John Terrys comments at the press conference yesterday, i'd send him home immediately and put Dawson in his place.
Terry is a disrespectful twat of a man, who thinks he's the biggest thing in english football. Hes not even the best defender in our WC squad or at Chelsea, so god knows why this egomaniac things he can pick the team for Capello. I'm not a Capello lover either, i think hes done nothing, other than pick a team, which we could all have picked, and beaten our weak WC qualifying opponents. Once its got to the tournament, he has struggled & shown he doesnt know how to motivate or change a team or get the best out of these group of players. Yes he's done well in Italy blah blah blah, but so has just about every other manager who has managed a top 4 Italian club, they all win trophies over there!!
Get Harry Redknapp in charge and dont pay him £6m a year, give him the going rate of other European countries. If we are successful, then we can up the salary, but paying people the largest managerial salary in world football, to guys who have won nothing on the world stage, is just plain irresponsible & completely unneccessary!
While i'm at it.... the guys at the FA should all be shot!......anyone else i've missed off?... lol

1. Why was Terry even doing the interview after such a crap team display.Gerrard should have been put in front of the press.
As he is the team captain.
2. When he Stripped Terry of the captaincy he should have dropped him from the squad.
It was bound to happen. Not once have you seen Gerrard or Lampard (vice captain)Trying to gee the players up.During the 2 games(Not that it worked)
3.When people get ask'd a question during an interview/conference.You are used to hearing people talk bo llocks and not answering the question.
I found it quiet refreshing to hear some one talk with a bit of passion. So he's not right in hinting Joe Cole should play.He should have come on as a sub in both games.(I recon even Shaun Gale might have got that right  )
4.So you are telling me that after a few beers talking about our 2 crap performances. That a few players did not express there concern's.
I recon to many people take everything that is writen as fact.
5. Do you not think that the opoligy only came about because. The players that were so talkative after a few beers behind Capello's back. Are showing to be no more than lap dogs.Who didn't back up a players who had the bollox to say they were worried.
Yes ther is a bloody big problem with the England team.

1. Agree with you 100%
2. I would agree, but once Wayne Bridge said he didnt want to be considered for England it allowed JT to remain in the squad.
3. I take your point, but i think it was either very naive of JT or more likely, he had an alterior motive (hitting out publicly at Capello's methods, but at the same time being two-faced and backing him)  you could say it was honest or even clever, i'd prefer Naive.
4. They are not being allowed beers at all, so situation wont have arisen and Capello has an open door policy, but says no one ever mentions anything to him. So they either agree and are all behind him 100%, or they are all cowards.
5. I agree, they are all lap dogs toeing the line, because they really dont care and dont wanna be there. They would rather play golf and dream of summer holidays with their WAGS.
